ROGER HARVEY

A brick and mortar music store might as well hold the entire world within its walls. Preserving the sounds, ideas and perspectives of artists across generations, it’s an environment where the greatest songwriting luminaries can act as our very own guides, embodying our individual and collective pasts and the futures by showing us where we’ve been and where we’re going.  It was inside that cathedral of sorts, where Roger Harvey offered a portal into his own heart and mind.  Performing “In Place” with Anika Pyle of Katie Ellen, Harvey’s acoustic guitar filled the air, floating through the aisles as the eyes of the countless cassettes, posters, cds, books and vinyl at Siren Records looked right back at him.
